Our fabrics
We only work with fabrics we know well – certified qualities with the right weight, lustre and softness. Materials that move beautifully, hold their shape and feel just as good after many washes. Each fabric is carefully chosen based on how it drapes, how it feels against the skin and how it enhances each dress style.
We believe in long-lasting quality over fast trends – that’s why we choose fabrics that retain their colour, shape and feel, wash after wash, season after season.
Here you can read more about our fabrics and see which dresses are made in our different materials.
Dresses made of
Viscose jersey with a heavy drape
If you read that a dress is made in a stretchy fabric with a heavy drape, it refers to one of the qualities we are best known for and use in many of our dresses.
It is a sustainably produced jersey made from Vortex-spun viscose and elastane – soft, flexible and with an elegant weight that creates a beautiful drape.
You’ll feel the difference straight away – the fabric has a luxurious feel against the skin and retains its shape and colour wash after wash.
Vortex spinning is an advanced technique that creates a smooth, even surface free from pilling. The fabric is easy to care for, creases minimally and stays beautiful for a long time.
Dresses made of
Viscose Jersey with Slub Structure
Another jersey quality we often use is a stretchy viscose jersey made from 100% viscose – a slightly airier fabric that still offers comfortable stretch.
The yarn is spun using a so-called slub technique, which creates a subtly uneven texture, adding character and a naturally beautiful surface.
The fabric has a soft, lightweight drape and feels pleasant against the skin. This quality is particularly well suited to dress styles with draping or flounces, where you want the fabric to feel airy and move beautifully. A quality we love to use for dresses designed for the warmer season.
Dresses made of
Viscose jersey with a subtle sheen
A luxurious jersey quality with a subtle sheen and a hint of occasion wear.
The fabric is a stretch viscose jersey with a soft drape, a smooth feel against the skin and a gently lustrous surface that catches the light in an elegant way. The understated glow gives the dresses a refined character without feeling overdressed – perfect for occasions when you want to feel a little extra special, yet still comfortable.
A quality we love to use for our more festive dresses.
Dresses made of
Woven viscose
We use two different woven viscose fabrics, both without stretch but with a natural fluidity and softness that make them perfect for our woven dresses. One is a viscose twill, with a slightly heavier structure that drapes beautifully and works especially well during the cooler months of the year. The surface has a subtle sheen that reflects light elegantly and adds depth to the colour. The other is a lighter woven viscose, airy and cool against the skin – ideal for spring and summer. It has a soft, matte feel, similar to a lightweight cotton fabric but with a softer, more fluid drape.
Both qualities are made from Ecovero™ viscose, a more sustainably produced fibre with a lower environmental impact than conventional viscose. The fabrics have a natural lustre and a soft, flowing feel that brings patterns and colours to life with extra depth and clarity.
They stay beautiful over time, resist pilling, do not fade, and retain their shape even after many washes.
Dresses made of
Organic cotton
Our woven cotton fabrics are organic and GOTS-certified, which means that the entire production chain – from cultivation to finished fabric – meets strict requirements for both environmental and social responsibility.
The cotton is grown without chemical pesticides or artificial fertilisers, and the dyeing process is carried out with care for both the environment and the people involved in production. The result is a fabric that not only feels better to wear, but is also a better choice.
We sew our dresses in several different cotton qualities – each with its own character.
An organic embroidered and patterned cotton, creating a luxurious texture and a rich, expressive look.
An organic openwork cotton lace, with beautiful transparency and a light, airy feel.
And a cotton poplin, with a tight weave, smooth surface and cool, crisp hand feel – perfect for dresses with a little more structure.
Together, these qualities reflect how we view cotton: natural, beautiful, and made to last.
