Shipping & delivery
How long does delivery take?
All our dresses are in stock at our warehouse in Borås Sweden, ready to be shipped straight to you. If you place your order before 12:00 noon, it will be dispatched the same day.
📌 Delivery times:
- Within Sweden: 1–3 weekdays
- Europa: 1-5 weekdays
If a dress has a different delivery time, for example for a pre-order, this will be clearly stated on the product page – you’ll find the information just above the size selection.

- Denmark: 20 DKK
- Finland: 4.90 EUR
- Norway: 59 NOK

Do you deliver to a pick-up point or directly to my home?
It depends on the shipping method you choose at checkout and the size of your parcel.
- Early Bird (Sweden only) delivers directly to your letterbox early in the morning. If the parcel is too large, it will be placed outside your door or in a bag outside.
- PostNord (DPD) delivers either to your letterbox, nearest pick-up point, parcel locker, or directly to your home, depending on the parcel size and the delivery option selected.
- FedEx delivers your order directly to your address. If you are not home at the time of delivery, the package may be left with a neighbor, redirected to a FedEx pickup point, or a new delivery attempt can be scheduled. You will receive an email notification with a tracking link so you can follow your package at any time.

Can I track my order?
Yes! Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive an email with a tracking link so you can follow your parcel all the way to you.

Can I change the delivery address after placing an order?
If you notice that your address is incorrect, please contact us immediately at hello@purefemale.se. We’ll do our very best to update it before your order is shipped!
What should I do if my parcel seems to be lost?
Don’t worry! 💛 If your parcel hasn’t arrived as expected, please get in touch with us and we’ll help you sort it out. We always do our very best to find a quick and smooth solution. ✨
It’s very rare for parcels to go missing, but sometimes delivery can take a few extra days. Keep an eye on your tracking link, and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions! 😊
Can I choose which address my order is delivered to?
Yes! 😊 You can enter any delivery address at checkout before completing your order.
Please make sure to double-check your order confirmation to ensure the address is correct. If something isn’t right, contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our very best to fix it! 💛
Returns & exchanges
How do I make a return?
It’s easy to return an item! 💛
- You have 14 days from the day you receive your parcel to make a return.
- Register your return here: https://account.purefemale.se
Log in easily using the email address you used when placing your order. - Would you like to exchange for a different size or colour? You can add your request in the comments/notes field (optional).
- Shortly after registering your return, you will receive an email from us with instructions on how to return your order.
Important information:
- All returned dresses must be in the same condition as when you received them.
- Returns will not be accepted if the item has been worn, washed, or handled carelessly. All tags must remain attached.
- Each dress is inspected upon return. Once your return has been approved, your invoice will be adjusted or the amount refunded to the same payment method used for the purchase.
How do I make an exchange?
Didn’t get the right size? No worries!
Exchanges for a different size or colour are completely free, and all dresses are in stock at our warehouse in Borås, ready to be dispatched quickly.
📌 Three easy ways to exchange your dress:
1️⃣ Email us at hello@purefemale.se with your order number and the size/colour you’d like to exchange for. We’ll reserve the dress straight away and send it as soon as we receive your return.
2️⃣ Place a new order online for the size/colour you want and return the original dress according to our return policy. No return fee will be charged.
3️⃣ Register your return and write the size and colour you want to exchange for in the comments field. We’ll send your exchange as soon as we receive your return.

What does it cost to make a return?
The return fee is charged afterwards when we process your return and is deducted from your refund.
📦 Return fees:
- Denmark: 49 DKK
- Finland: 5.9 EUR
- Norge: 79 NOK
- Netherlands: 5.9 EUR
Exchanges for a different size or colour are always free! 💛
How do I know that you’ve received my return?
As soon as we receive your return, you’ll get a confirmation by email. Once your return has been processed and completed, you’ll receive another confirmation email and your invoice or payment will be adjusted automatically.
Please allow 2–3 weeks from the time you send your return until it has been fully processed.
What should I do if I’ve received a faulty or incorrect dress?
Oh no, we’ll of course take care of that! 💛

and include your order number along with a photo of the issue, and we’ll help you as quickly as possible. We’ll either send you a new dress or find another solution that works best for you. ✨
How long do I have to return a dress?
You have 14 days to return your order from the day you receive your parcel. We do appreciate it if you return it as soon as possible – sometimes a dress sells out and someone else may be waiting for it.
If it takes a little longer, we understand that things can happen. Just get in touch with us if you need more time, and we’ll usually be happy to find a solution together. 💛
Can I return a dress I bought on sale?
Yes, absolutely! 💛 You can return sale items within our standard 14-day return period, as long as the dress is in its original condition with all tags still attached.
I chose Klarna invoice and now want to return my order – what should I do with the invoice?
If you paid with a Klarna invoice, you can pause the invoice by selecting “Report a return” in the Klarna app or on Klarna’s website. This way, you don’t have to worry about the invoice becoming due while we process your return.
📌 When we register your return:
- The return fee will be deducted from the refund (unless it’s an exchange, which is always free).
- If you return the entire order, the invoice will be adjusted to the remaining amount.
- If you return part of your order, the invoice will be updated with the new balance.
When will I receive my refund?
As soon as we have registered your return, you’ll receive a confirmation by email and your refund will be issued automatically to the same payment method you used when placing your order.
Not having received a confirmation yet doesn’t necessarily mean that we haven’t received your return — please allow 2–3 weeks from the time you sent the parcel back for the return to be fully processed.
Can I return my item in person at your location in Borås?
Unfortunately, that’s not possible - we’re unable to accept returns in person.
All returns must be sent back according to the provided instructions.

If I return an item and paid with a gift card, how does it work?
If you return a dress that was paid for with a gift card, the refund will be made to the same gift card.
📌 Here’s how it works:
- Paid the full amount with a gift card? The refunded amount is credited back to the gift card and can be used again.
- Paid partly with a gift card and partly with another payment method? The refund is first made to the other payment method. Any remaining amount is then credited back to the gift card.
💛 Gift cards never expire, so you can use it whenever you like!

How do pre-orders work?
When you place a pre-order, you reserve a dress before it’s back in stock - making sure you get your size and favourite colour 💛
📌 How it works:
- Order as usual – Payment is made at checkout, just like a regular order.
- Estimated dispatch date – You’ll find the expected shipping date clearly stated on the product page.
- We ship as soon as it’s in stock – You’ll receive an email confirmation once your order is on its way.
📦 Ordering both pre-order and in-stock items?
We ship your entire order together once everything is available.

How do I know if it’s a pre-order?
If a dress is available for pre-order, this will be clearly stated on the product page, along with the estimated delivery date.
📌 How to tell the difference:
- Pre-order – The product shows a specified delivery timeframe.
- Not a pre-order? Then the dress is in stock and will be shipped according to our standard delivery times.
📦 Ordered both pre-order and in-stock items?
We ship everything together once your full order is complete.

Once your order is confirmed, you’ll receive an order confirmation by email within a few minutes.

I have a discount code - how do I use it?
You can enter your discount code at checkout before choosing your payment method.
📌 Here’s how:
- Go to checkout and fill in your details.
- Enter your discount code in the “Discount code” field and click “Apply”.
- The discount will be deducted automatically from the total before you select your payment method.

Can I ship my order to a different address than my billing address?
Yes, that’s absolutely fine! 😊
At checkout, you can enter a different delivery address than your billing address. Simply fill in your billing details first, then select “Use a different shipping address” to have your order sent to another recipient.
Are items reserved in the shopping bag?
No, items in your shopping bag are not reserved until you complete your purchase.
If a dress is popular, it may sell out while you’re shopping, so we recommend completing your order as soon as possible to secure your dress. 💛
I can’t see my order in my customer account - what should I do?
If you can’t see your order when you log in, it may be due to one of the following:
📌 You used a different email address – Make sure you’re logging in with the same email address you used when placing your order.
📌 The order is very recent – Sometimes it can take a little while for the order to appear in your account. In the meantime, please check your email for the order confirmation.

How do I know which size to choose?
All our dresses are available in sizes XS to 4XL and are designed for a comfortable, well-balanced fit. Our sizing is based on measurements adapted for Northern European women, who are often slightly taller than women in Southern Europe.

Many first-time customers find our sizes slightly generous compared to other brands.
To find the right size, click “Find your size” on the product page and enter your measurements – you’ll receive a size recommendation tailored to that specific dress model.
You’ll find a general size chart in the size guide.
Under the “Garment measurements” tab, you’ll see the exact measurements for each dress.

Measure a dress you already own and know fits you well, then compare it with our measurements for the best possible fit.

How is the fit of the dresses?
We place great emphasis on fit – a dress should look beautiful and feel comfortable to wear. All women are different, and there are many details to consider to make a dress fit just right.
We work carefully to develop fits that work for a variety of body types. Each dress is tested and adjusted to ensure a balanced silhouette and comfortable freedom of movement.

Are the dresses available in more colours, patterns and lengths?
Yes! 💛 Our dresses have a timeless design made to be worn and loved for a long time – while we also follow seasonal trends in colours and prints. That’s why we regularly update our most loved dress styles with new colours and patterns each season.
Most of our dresses are also available in two different lengths, so you can choose the one that suits you best.

What kinds of fabrics are used in your dresses?
We sew our dresses using high-quality fabrics, always with a strong focus on natural materials and more responsible choices. Every fabric is carefully selected to create dresses that feel comfortable to wear, drape beautifully and last over time.
📌 How we develop and choose our fabrics:
- Our prints and colourways are developed through close collaboration with our fabric suppliers.
- We listen to our customers and happily take feedback on which materials and patterns you’d like to see more of.
- On every dress, you’ll find detailed information about materials and care instructions under the “Details” tab.
Dresses that are made in Bulgaria use fabrics sourced from a small number of European fabric manufacturers with whom we’ve had long-term partnerships. All fabrics used in these collections are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, Product Class I – the highest classification, meaning very low levels of chemicals and strict requirements for health and environmental safety.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is the world’s leading certification for textiles, leather, accessories and products tested for harmful substances. The standard also regulates substances that may have a negative environmental impact.
Dresses that are made in India are produced using GOTS-certified organic cotton or OEKO-TEX® certified viscose. This ensures that all materials are free from harmful substances and meet the highest environmental standards.
📌 We most often choose fabrics such as viscose, which is made from natural fibres and is a more environmentally considerate option.

How should I wash my dress?
All of our dresses can usually be machine washed, but we always recommend checking the care instructions for your specific dress.
You’ll find the care details on the product page under the “Care” tab.
📌 How to care for your dress:
- Avoid fabric softener – it wears down the fibres and can affect the fit.
- Do not hang jersey dresses to dry – they may stretch out of shape.
- When removing the dress from the washing machine while still wet, gently reshape it to its original form by carefully pulling it into place.

Will a sold-out dress be restocked?
It depends! 💛 We produce our dresses in small batches to avoid overproduction, which means that some styles or colours can sell out quickly.
- Popular styles and colours may sometimes return, but we can’t guarantee a restock.
- Our dress models often return season after season in new colours and prints, so keep an eye out if you have a favourite.
- OIf a dress you love is sold out in your size, click “Notify me” on the product page and you’ll receive an email if it comes back in stock.

Gift card
Can I buy a gift card?
Yes 💛 Click on “Gift Card” in the menu to choose your gift. Our digital gift cards are available in various amounts from SEK 200–2000 SEK and are sent directly by email.
Perfect if you’d like to give the gift of a dress while letting the recipient choose for themselves! 🎀

How long is the gift card valid for?
Forever! 💛 Our gift cards have no expiry date – just like our dresses, they’re made to be loved for a long time.

How will I receive my gift card?
Once you’ve placed your order, the gift card is sent directly to the email address you entered at checkout.
📌 Ways to give it as a gift:

Sustainability & social responsibility
Where are the dresses made?
Most of our dresses are made in Bulgaria, at a factory we have a close and long-term partnership with. We know them well and have a strong relationship, which allows us to ensure production under fair conditions, with market-level wages and regulated working hours.
The factory actively works to reduce its environmental impact:
✅ 55% of electricity consumption comes from solar energy
✅ Industrial waste is recycled
✅ Energy-efficient machinery is used
The factory is BSCI-certified by Intertek with a high score of 97%, ensuring sustainable and responsible working conditions.
We also collaborate with a smaller factory in India, certified according to SA8000 and Fairtrade, to ensure fair wages, good working conditions and ethical production. The factory works sustainably by:

Manufacturing of the dresses?
We create our dresses from the ground up in Borås, Sweden where we design, select fabrics and adjust measurements to ensure a comfortable fit and high quality.
The actual sewing takes place mainly in Bulgaria, where the majority of our dresses are made, while some are produced at a smaller factory in India. We work closely with both factories and have long-standing relationships with them.
📌 How we work with sustainable production:
• Fewer transports & shorter lead times – By keeping most of our production within Europe, we reduce the environmental impact of transport and can quickly restock popular styles.
• Small production runs – Instead of producing large volumes at once, we make dresses based on demand, which helps minimise waste and overproduction.
• Optimised fabric use – We adapt sizing and production to make the most of every metre of fabric. We often also store fabric at the factory so we can produce exactly the sizes that are needed.
• In-house fabric development – Our prints and colours are developed in close collaboration with our fabric suppliers, where we sketch and create designs based on trends and customer feedback.

That’s why we always pack with care and avoid plastic wherever possible. Our dresses are delivered in eco-friendly cardboard boxes, packed as efficiently as possible to minimise unnecessary air and material use.
Each dress is carefully inspected before being wrapped in soft tissue paper and placed in the box – ready to be sent to you in a thoughtful, sustainable and secure way. 💛
